On 14 June, the world exhibition 2008 opened its gates in the Spanish town of Zaragoza. So that visitors and exhibitors alike would feel comfortable in this showcase of nations, TROX provided a whole range of high-quality and innovative components and systems. For example, the grilles, diffusers and jet nozzles in virtually all the exhibition buildings come from TROX. The Spanish Pavilion, the Aragon’s Pavilion and the “Torre del Aqua†water tower – an architectural feat with a 76 metre high glass tower without any floors in between – were equipped exclusively with TROX components and systems. In this way, the TROX centralised ventilation unit TKM in conjunction with other TROX components ensures a pleasant climate.
TROX components and systems also cater to people’s safety at the world exhibition. For example, TROX fire dampers were used in the congress centre and in the water tower. The chosen theme “Water and sustainable development†is not only a hot topic at Expo Zaragoza 2008 in that this expo is the first world exhibition to be held under the common motto of all exhibiting countries.
